Responsibilities:
There is an immediate opening for a full-time (40 hrs/wk) Senior Credit Analyst for the bank’s Hartland office. This experienced credit analyst banking position will underwrite and analyze financial and non-financial data provided by prospective and current commercial borrowers to determine the degree of risk involved in extending new or renewal credit. Additional responsibility will be to take on the role of “team lead” for the existing credit analyst staff, providing guidance, training and mentoring as needed.

Qualifications:
Qualified candidates will possess the following skills and abilities:

  • Bachelor's degree (BA) in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration and five (5) plus years banking-related credit analyst experience and/or training required; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

    • Prior experience mentoring staff is critical.
  • Proven analytical and detail orientation with solid verbal and written communication skills;
  • Strong experience completing loan presentation underwriting of new and renewing commercial and commercial real estate loan requests.
  • Continuously monitors loan performance by reviewing ongoing financial condition, compliance with loan policy, advance ratios and collateral values;
  • Utilize Baker Hill and Moody’s software to complete financial statements analysis and track financial statements and loan documentation folders.
  • Track borrower compliance with loan covenants.
  • Prepares various assigned monthly and quarterly reports designed to monitor various segments of bank’s portfolio.
  • Maintain financial statements and other compliance documents on electronic document storage system.
  • Review loan documentation on existing clients to insure documentation.
