Town Bank Adds Trust Services to Better Serve Clients
HARTLAND, Wisconsin; February 29, 2012 – Jay Mack, President and CEO of Town Bank and Bob Mayo, President and CEO of The Chicago Trust Company, N.A. are pleased to announce that Jan Grimm has joined the Town Bank market as Trust Administrator. Based in Elm Grove, Jan will offer fiduciary services for all clients in Town Bank markets including Elm Grove, Hartland, Delafield, Wales, and the greater Madison and Milwaukee markets. Matt Hein, Assistant Vice President – Town Bank of Madison, was nominated for the 40 Under 40 list by Madison InBusiness. Matt has eleven years of banking experience. Upon completion of his Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater in 2001, Matt worked as a consumer and mortgage lender for a national banking organization. Sarah Grooms Recognized by The Business Journal’s Forty Under 40
Sarah E. Grooms, CTP, Vice President and Director of Treasury Management for Town Bank, is being recognized as a recipient of the Forty under 40 in the Milwaukee based publication The Business Journal. Grooms has been with Town Bank since 2001, and was hired on full-time during her internship as a credit analyst. Sarah started the Treasury Management Department for Town Bank in 2006. Read more.

Highlights from the January 24th airing included common schemes, new fraud tactics, how to craft internal policies that prevent problems and bank tools to fight external fraudsters from online and check fraud tactics. Notice Of Changes In Temporary FDIC Insurance Coverage For Transaction Accounts
Beginning December 31, 2010 Through December 31, 2012, deposits held in non interest-bearing transaction accounts will be fully insured, regardless of the amount in the account, at all FDIC-insured institutions. Read more.

FDIC permanently extends insurance limits.
The FDIC has permanently increased its basic insurance coverage to $250,000 per depositor. Read more.

2. Don’t respond to text messages, phone calls, or e-mails requesting account numbers, PINs, passwords, card numbers, or 3-digit security codes.
